Do you think its absolutely necessary to have a tent
for DS' Christening? Money is so tight right now and they are just so expensive.

We ordered a tent for DD baptism, and while it wasn't necessary it did look nice.
Pros:
-Provided shade to an otherwise extremely sunny part of our yard.
-Looked beautiful and gave the yard a catered party feel instead of backyard BBQ.
Cons:
-
-Only half of the family sat there. We made the mistake of keeping our patio furniture out and DHs family sat there instead of the tables and chairs we set up.
I would probably do it again though.

Let me see if DH will have our tent back by then. I know he has a couple of people borrowing it - but I stay out of that stuff, so I don't know when he has it and doesn't

Id say yes that you should probably go with a tent. Esp if you dont think DH wants everyone inside if the weather isnt any good..

I would go for the tent! Did you price alot of places? Maybe you can get a better deal somewhere else - or are they all in the same price range?
