I answered the poll before I fully understood the question.
DD's thank yous were pre-printed photos, but I wrote something on the back of each and every one of them. I couldn't not... my conscience won't allow it. Which reminds me I have a thank you to send out for a belated christening gift.

I did a picture thankyou card for DS baptism and it said, thankyou for sharing my special day with me with his picture under it, everyone loved it!
we did this also
