I don't know what I look like. When my hair was long, people always thought I was native american because of my coloring, however, I always have spanish-speaking men stop me and ask me if I am spanish. ALWAYS, to the point where gets a little annoying (I am, however, Puerto Rican). But the rest of me is Italian, and no one ever seems to figure that out. I would say a majority of people think i'm jewish because my name is Rachel

Moms side...English and Yugoslavian
Dads side...Irish and a little Italian
I always only get irish. Sometimes people think I was actually born there. I guess I can look slavic some days but for the most part, most people just think irish..I guess its the blue eyes, reddish hair and fair fair skin! LOL

everyone thinks i'm irish b/c i have fair skin and green eyes. swedes have fair skin and light eyes, too! but my hair is dark so when i tell them i'm swedish they give a look .. then i have to explain that my dad is german and russian.

Guess I look my ethnicity considering people come up to me and start speaking hebrew all the time  I'm russian/jewish, but I don't speak a lick of hebrew. And to think, I married an Israeli!

almost everyone n their other thinks im irish bc of the blond hair/blue eyes...
NO-and often give me a look of dismay when they hear my last name

I am Mostly Irish, German and then Mutt 
I look Irish, but sometimes I'll get "are you Italian?" No, not all. And I'm not, not even in the mutt part.

My father is from Sicily; my mother is from a small town near Naples. Here, people never assume that I'm Italian, especially half Sicilian because I'm blonde with blue eyes - people think that I'm: dutch, polish, british, german, irish in that order.

People think I am Hispanic. I am Italian, English & Egyptian (although I know nothing about that side of my family....)
When I tell them that I am mostly Italian, they say, oh, well you don't have an Italian nose, so I thought you were Hispanic.
Um, little insulting to Italians, no?

Well, I am Jewish- with my grandparents being Polish, Russian and Lithuanian (sp?).
I have been asked if I am everything under the sun-- I have red hair and fair skin and have not really been asked if I was Irish-- I get a lot of Northern Italian-- have been asked if I was Greek and even Puerto Rican.
To quote Beth-- I too have been asked if I have had my nose done-- and while I am Jewish-- my nose is au natural!

No one ever guess my ethnicity. Everyone assumes I am Italian if not Greek (when they hear my maiden name) - sometimes I get Jewish or PR or Brazilian. I am none of them. My dad is Lithuanian (but born in Germany) and my mom is a mix but mostly French and English. No one ever guesses any of them.
I always thought you were Italian, Denise!  
I'm Irish and look it.

Not to start a war here, but what do you all mean when you say "look Jewish"? I wasn't aware that Judiaism was an ethnicity?
I am Jewish but my ethnicity is Polish. I am told all the time that I look Italian (I have green eyes and brown hair)

I'm usually told I have Irish skin (freckles) with Italian features (my nose). I really wish I had gotton the olive skin like some of my family.

I am German, Puerto Rican and Filipino.
Nobody ever knows what ethnicity I am.
I get Egyptian...Greek...Brazilian...Israeli...you name it.
It is strange but I get Asian people asking me if I am part Filipino
