Re: Do you use a color theme to decorate your x-mas tree?
We do an all Lenox tree. White lights, gold ribbon, gold and cream accents. I have collected Lenox ornaments since 1996. I have about 60.
Of course this tree is in a room where my kids are not!

We don't do theme trees, but they're so pretty.
We're the odd balls - we love artificial trees, multi colored lights & all different kinds of ornaments. Still beautiful in our eyes.

Same for us. I'm allergic to real trees so it's fake for us! We do colored lights and we have a jumble of ornaments from when we both were children and as a couple.

Same here. I love my trees but I never know how to put the ribbon on it to finish it off.
This was our tree last year. In the pic, it looks like there aren't a lot of ornaments, but there are.
One of my favorite ornaments
Holly Hobby ornament from my first Christmas (mom saved them for me)

After 7 1/2 years together, almost 2 years married, this is our first Christmas tree together
It will be a big ole' mess of ornaments we've collected throughout the years. I can't wait!

I love blue and silver or silver/white and another color.
I collect sentimental ornaments to commerate what has happened to us each year so its a mix of ornaments that i need to neautralize it with color.

Re: Do you use a color theme to decorate your x-mas tree?
Our tree is a total hodge-podge - it is covered in ornaments that were made by DS and other kids, gifts from friends/family and ones that I have made - it isn't the most coordinated tree, but I get all teary going through the ornaments when I put them up remembering where they came from or who made them.
I am a big sappy sucker!
We do fake trees too because of allergies ...and easy clean up
I had planned to make a tree skirt for the tree this year, but that hasn't happened yet.....
