Our garage has room for 1 car and some tools which is what we use it for. We plan to get additional landscaping equipment so will be putting up a storage shed in our yard for those items, because we don't like the idea of using a garage for storage. If we have time/$, we plan to bump out the back of the garage so we can fit in 2 cars in there.

WE have a 2.5 car garage and keep both of our cars in the garage. The .5 is where we keep all of our yard tools. Before we had a garage, I didn't understand how amazing it is! You never have to deice your car and it always starts out relatively comfortable - not too cold or hot. You also do not have the clear snow off of it. I would never go back to no garage or a 1 car garage.

1.5 car garage and I couldn't even fit a toy car with all the stuff we have in there.

We have a one car garage but it is a tight fit for a car so we use it for storage of tools and other stuff

2 car detached garage- my husband parks on one side

It's too far of a walk to my house for me to bother parking in it

Two car garage and we used to keep both cars in it. We have yet to attempt putting our new truck in, as it will likely be a dangerously close fit so right now we have one in and one out. Would like to have both in again though!

Two car garage and no car has ever been in it in 7yrs It's unattached so its a further walk to my house than the driveway. I use it for outdoor storage.

we don't use it for cars its pretty small though its considered a once car garage I would never try it....

2 car attached garage and both my jeep and sedan fit and are inside everyday, whenever we get home. Also has shelving for storage, and a refrigerator and a bunch other stuff. I love it, and knew when we bought the house, that the garage would definitely be used for cars.

It's a 2 car garage, but it's more like a 1.5 car garage. My Excursion definitely won't fit (too tall & long) and I don't think my Yukon XL would fit (too long.)

No garage.

From the outside, it looks like we have a garage, but it was converted to a dining room before we bought the house. We just never got fed of the garage door. From the inside, you'd never know it was a garage.

Next house will have at least a one car garage with access to the house. It's a must.

We have a 2 car garage. We always keep my car in there. My husband built shelves around the perimeter so we use that to store. If need be, we can fit my husbands car in there as well, but it would be tight.

I put my car in the garage during snow storms and sometimes in the rain.

We have a 2 car garage and both our current cars are parked in the garage. We are buying a third car and it will be parked in our driveway.

We have 1.5 garage so we have space for both the car and "stuff." We also have a full basement for storage.

If I have so much stuff that my garage if full of crap and not my car, I have too much crap.

Two car garage but detached and I am too lazy to park in it and walk even further to the house. Too much of a hassle. So it houses lawn stuff.
