Do you wear red, white and blue for the 4th?
Or any combination of the colors?
My parents have a big BBQ every year and most people do dress "patriotically" but I feel like I never have anything to wear like that. So, I try but usually end up dressing like any ordinary day. I do always make sure the kids are wearing the red, white and blue though.

I actually don't even own anything red - and I just realized that yesterday! So I'll be wearing blue and white, but my kids will be wearing their patriotic gear

I also don't own anything Red. Maybe I will wear white and blue but I hate wearing white because it gets dirty so quickly.
That being said, my DD will be very patriotic today!

I was actually just wondering if people were going to be coming here dressed patriotically later (we're having a barbecue in a couple of hours) lol
I've never thought to wear red, white, and blue...although I am wearing a blue tank top, but it wasn't on purpose.

I have a t shirt my mom got me at a Tom Petty concert that says "She was an American girl..." I wear that usually with a jean skirt :)

No, I never think of it until I see everyone else all festive in red, white, and blue. I wore a navy orange and white striped dress.

I also don't like buying something that I am only going to wear one day of the year.
Yesterday I was in an orange and blue plaid bikini with a purple and grey cover up over it- not very patriotic!

My kids were.
I did have on a flag shirt, but, it was so dam hot and I was doing so much running around, I ended up in a sun dress.
Felt so much better!

yes, i usually buy an old navy flag shirt every year. so i wore an old one with no date on it. i bought a bunch of flag shirts this year to wear to the gym.

That's a big no for me. I wear black most days, this one is no exception.
I alwaysmake sure my kids are all themed up, but I don't get into for myself.
ETA: I think it's a slippery slope to a christmas sweater vest and I don't want to go down that path.
