I have a summer b-day and I am usually working at summer camp (since I am a teacher) DH usually works with me and has the kids suprise me with a little b-day party...so cute. I loved having that as part of my day...I mean I would rather be home but that is not a bad way to have part of your b-day

I work. I stand by the notion that birthdays are month long events. It doesn't matter what day I celebrate it. I usually celebrate it for the whole month.

I am always off on my birthday, it is Veteran's day..the only time I didn't have off was when I was in college and with my first job...it's nice having a birthday on holiday!
