DOE teachers- alternate assessed
anyone with self contained classes with alternate assessed students? if so, what materials do you give them? Do you give them the same materials as the rest of the class, or different?
In my last building, we used ipads alot with them, and they worked on apps at their grade level. Not sure what technology they have provided for the kids in my new building and I'm thinking of what I can do in my self-contained math class. There are 2 students who are AA

I would look at the DLM maps.The DLM essential elements are what AA students are tested on. Maybe try focusing on the EE on those skills during the lessons for the students taking the standardized tests.

This. I tend to work toward the target goals outlined in the EE. I will find compete connected to the concept being taught and will go from there. I do offer content from the tradition curriculum as well.
