when the LIRR runs ontime and no problems...I love it  BUt when its late, broken down or cancelled trains, I want to shot myself!!

I only work PT, and my office is in the next town, so my commute is 15 minutes at the most... Don't mind it at all. I left the city work force 5 years ago and never looked back!

I used to.
I used to travel by express bus every day. it was 1 hour in and 1 hour home.
Now my office is too far from the express bus to enjoy the benefits.
I used to love ot unwind and read or listen to my IPOD and just relax.

i hate how long it takes me...its an hour each way on the express bus, but it helps that its a comfy ride...
what kills it is the traffic...w/out it it would be 20 minutes.

Me too..and if everyone is courteous toward each other that's a bonus.
I like the nap time and the reading and unwinding time too.
It is the least favorite part of my job though.

I miss my 2 stop on the 6 train commute - Or my 20 minute walk home through the city .........-
Although I can't complaint about my nap to and from Massapequa to Penn, I'd take the 20 minute commute back any day !!

I like to listen to the morning zoo on Z100 in the AM on the way in and usually in the evening I like to decompress and listen to the radio chick on 92.3 or a cd on the way home....I love driving to work, the only thing I miss about taking the train is extra sleep or having a solid 1.5 hrs to read!

I have a 1 hour car ride each way. When the weather is good I don't mind it all that much. Now I've got my IPOD & my car adapter things to I listen to motivational podcasts....beats the crappy radio & prevents me from slapping on my headset & talking on the phone for the whole hour!

I work 10 - 7 so my morning commute is usually quick and I love driving fast and singing out loud in my car. The way home though is more

I loathe commuting
But then again, I dont't drive-- have to walk about 2 miles in total round trip, and then stand on a platform and wait-- then stand or sit on a crowded train.
