does anyone bake their own bread?
i started doing this, a couple of months ago... i'm liking it, but have made a couple of bricks, lately 
was hoping to find a new recipe for whole wheat sandwich bread

I don't but I keep saying I will. I only make cakey breads like banana or pumpkin.
I'm a little afraid of yeast.

I do but only for holidays now and mainly only rolls. I miss it, but with only 2 of us, there's no much reason to make loaves anymore 
I don't really have any recipes, though, but Peter Reinhart's books come highly recommended.

i've hit the library and am doing my best to learn the science behind bread making.
i think i have a decent grasp of pizza dough, though. i've made it twice and the family LOVES it!

I just did my first bread (french bread) tonight
It was good, but not as "airy" as i would like it
I do plan on doing it again - although a lot of recipes i have call for bread machines?
