Kristina was 6lbs 2oz at birth. When she was released, she was 5lbs 13oz.
At her 1 wk checkup she had gone up to 6lbs 3 oz, and at her 2 month checkup (on 4.4)... she went to 10lbs!
We just went in today cuz I wanted to double check her watery eye, and she is up to 10lbs 13oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my DD is small i think @ 10 months she is only a little over 16 lbs! she is perfectly fine and not all babies are meant to be big!

He sounds like he is doing fine!
My dd was small, 5lbs 13 ounces, when she was born. She dropped down quite a bit and took a while to get back up there, but now she's a healthy chunka monka!

DS is 25% for weight and 50% for height .. these days it seems small, especially when babies younger than him outweigh him, but the doc said he's doing great.

ann, he sounds like he is doing just great! Audrina was born at 6.4 and dropped to 5.8, she is now 8.11 at her 1mth. visit. I stopped nurising her for a few reasons, mainly after all I've been through and doing it for over a yr. with DD#1 I was done She is a chuncker and eats like crazy so I'm not worried, however DD#1 was a frequent nurser and gained good. I have many friends with kids that are 10-20% in weight and are extremely healthy and perfetly fine eaters. you're doing great

Thats weird--DD was 12lbs, 2 oz at last appt(3 months) and the dr said she was in 50th percentile...she was born at 7.2.
Also the dr said they should only be gaining a pound a month starting at 3 months...so it sounds to me like your baby is average and right on track.
