Does anyone else have this issue? Belts and waistlines
I have a large chest and a very short torso, so even though I've lost weight, I still cannot wear a belt or a shirt tucked in because it looks like I am all boob and all hip with nothing in between Am I doing something wrong?
ETA: For example, I bought this skirt
Mossimo High-Low Skirt
and it fits perfectly, but doesn't look right with a shirt layered on top so I tried tucking a tank in and it looked so weird.
Help!

What if you got fitted for a bra to raise them up or even a minimizer.
As far as that skirt, I feel like it would be hard to pair regardless of body type.
I know they have skirts that have a wide, fitted band around the top and them it is fuller. I have seen some at Annie Sez and even Lord and Taylor. I think that type of skirt may work better for you because then you can put on a tank and keep it out.
Loft even had some cute skirts. I recently bought one that was fitted through the hips and then flared out.

I've always had this problem no matter what size I am...damn short torso and big boobs
I rarely tuck anything in...big wide belts are my friend

I can't really go any fuller, then it looks like I am ALL hip. I do need to get better bras but I am waiting until I have finished losing weight before I get fitted again. Hopefully that will help!

See I can't even do that! Then it's big boobs, big belt, big hips and nothing else

Re: Does anyone else have this issue? Belts and waistlines
I have this issue-well not exactly a short torso, but a high waist, so I also get the boobs cominf out of my skirt effect.
I wear tops untucked but they have to come in a the waist a little, to emphasize my high waist.
I also tend to wear tanks, untucked with a shorter cardigan.
But I own way mre skirts than top b/c it is so hard to find ones that work.

I've been wearing a chain link belt with some outfits lately. They hang a bit and they are thin so they flatter.
At least I think so.

I think it is the style of the skirt. I cannot wear pleated skirts like that with a shirt out. It does not look right. I think the only kind of shirt that would work is a shirt that ends exactly at the top of the skirt so it does not layer over the skirt.
