Does anyone else wake up in the middle of the night....
and not be able to fall back asleep?
This has been me every single night. I will wake up, pee & then try to fall back asleep. After about an hour of attempting, I make my way to the couch...
This has been happening every night!!!
It is just me or is my body telling me that I am getting too much sleep? (I doubt this because seriously, I am ALWAYS so tired!  )

How much sleep do you get each night?
That happens to me quite often. I only get three hours of sleep a night so I know getting too much sleep is not why, for me anyway.

I do find it is harder to fall back asleep, and a change of scenery (the couch versus my bed) usually does the trick for me.

Same here. My routine is: my bed first, then the recliner in the baby's room, then the couch. I can usually go back to sleep for at least another 2 hours in each room for which I won't complain at this point.

I have not slept the whole night since August 6th. Now the last few weeks I have been sleeping about 2-3 hours at a time, when I do wake up I fall back to sleep but it takes sometime because I get these really great sharp pains in my hip that I need to walk them out!

i have been the same way the last two nights before i have been able to fall back asleep but seriously the last two nights ~ not so much (plus i woke up to pee this morning next thing i was having was middle of the night morning sickness i was vomiting sorry tmi) it was terrible i even broke blood vessels in my face from getting sick ~ so today i am not doing good either... i feel your pain! 
the funny part was after i got sick i ladyed back down and my hubby turned over and said you want to do this twice?

Every night now...I was pretty aggravated this morning from 3:30-5 because all I wanted was to sleep. I tried getting up to pee, moving the dog, turning over, changing my earplugs and putting in new ones...I keep thinking that maybe we should just stop b1tching and get used to it because we are certainly not going to get MORE sleep after our little ones arrive. hehe

I'm on week 3 of this. If I'm not getting up to pee, I'm in back pain or dealing with a Charlie-horse or listening to both my cat AND husband's breathing/snoring to wondering if I'm really pregnant b/c I haven't felt much movement the past couple of days

I havent gotten more than 3 hours sleep at a time since AUGUST WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT!!! Two nights ago was the FIRST TIME that I got 7 hours of straight sleep and I cried tears of joy when I woke up!!!!!

It only happens if I turn the lights on when I go to the bathroom. I pretty much need to navigate in the dark in order to not really wake myself up. I find it helps me fall back asleep much more easily.

I hear you on this! Just this past weekend, we stocked up on night lights from Costco. You should try that for the bathroom. The light is really dim, but you definately wont miss the bowl!

This happened in my 1st trimester then, I started sleeping good for a while and now at 26 weeks I am back to waking up and not going back. Thank God for Tivo.

I haven't really slept well in a few weeks. I was always a good sleeper (even since I was born says mom), but now I don't sleep soundly through the whole night anymore.
It stinks. I love my sleep!

I'm actually quite adept at peeing in the dark. I never miss! It's only been a problem twice wehn DH went to the bathroom and forgot to put down the seat. We had words. He's learned his lesson since then!

I NEVER get a real night's sleep anymore. I cant fall asleep in my bed so I have to start on the couch, then half asleep, pee quick and then zombie walk to my bed. That is the only way I will fall back asleep in the bed and I never actually stay asleep.

How about running in there because you have to pee sooooo bad...not looking...pulling your pants down and sitting to pee...realizing that both seats are down!!!!!!
