Re: Does anyone/everyone know what they are doing to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend?
I always get breakfast in bed on Mother's Day.
Then we are hosting a Mother's Day BBQ with my parents, brother, grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins.
Should be fun...especially because THEY are all bringing the food!

My dad takes my mother, me and Jared out to buy flowers/plants for the house. My dh works all day...
Later that evening, we're going out to dinner all of us.

My sister and her new boyfriend are coming for a visit! They leave at two on Mother's Day so we probably will go to brunch before they leave.

Re: Does anyone/everyone know what they are doing to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend?
My niece is being christened on Sunday and we're the godparents, which is very exciting, but my SIL christened her son on Mother's Day 2006, so I have yet to have a "normal" Mother's Day. (And what's up with planning events on holidays!!) #1 2006 Christening #2 2007 Came home from the hospital with DD#2 the day before. #3 2008 Christening
I want a MEEEE day!!

Don't know cause my DH is on-call.
As long as I don't have to cook and can some what relax, I will be happy!
Hopefully Kailey realizes it's Mommy's Day and will be a good girl!

On Saturday my IL's are having a bbq for Mother's Day. My parents, brother, Sister-in-Law and nephew are all invited. On Sunday my DH. DS, and I are going to spend most of the day together. We are probably going to go to the park for a picnic, and then in the late afternoon we may visit my mom.

Re: Does anyone/everyone know what they are doing to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend?
Saturday is Robbie's bday party. Sunday I am going to the cemetary in the morning and to MIL at night.
I claim the weekend before as my own - primarily because my bday and my anniversary are both on Cinco De Mayo.. so we celebrate MY mother's day too and call it a trifecta!

We are going into the city with kids and meeting up with my Dh's brother and sister and their families and also DH's 2 cousins with their family. Unfortuanly we won't be seeing our mom's (way to much travel for us with 2 little ones).

Sorry, but that stinks and is super annoying!! I can't believe people plan christenings on Mother's Day
In response to the thread: my mom & grandmother are staying with us from OOT, and my MIL and SIL/BIL are coming over for a brunch. So I'll be cooking , but it was my idea, so I can only blame myself
