When I opened this thread, I was wondering why anyone would feel bad for a psychic who makes millions
LOL! Having a child will make your brain melt.
I thought the same thing
I'm the opposite. Every time I see a post about John Edward, I think it's going to be about John Edwards the politician.

Re: Does anyone feel bad for John Edwards?
I don't feel bad for him per se, but I think that he is being ignored in all the hoopla and celebrity surrounding Obama and Clinton. On certain issues I think he has the most comprehensive and clear-cut plan. I think he really does neet to, as a PP said "grow a set" and make his move... but at this point he looks like he's angling to be the running mate. It's just like 2004. He's "Mr. Likable." and "Mr. Uncontroversial" If either Obama or Clinton wins and chooses the other as a running mate, you have a black person AND a woman on the ticket, which may be too much for some. A white male southerner may be just the ticket as a VP candidate.
I really like John Edwards, I think his ideas are some of the best, but I don't think he's going to win. He is throwing a wrench into some of the races, such as in SC where he split the White vote from Billary. I like that he's still in the race. He can question them and keep the dialogue sane (like he did in the recent debate). I don't want one 2 person race followed by another. it's too early for that. Let's keep the ideas open.
Also, with everyone gunning hard for Hillary and Obama, he can swoop in after they've both been swiftboated and he's been ignored and largely untarnished.
Anything can happen!

I agree with all of this. Its not so much that i feel bad for him (as another poster stated, i agree that i don't tend to feel bad for any politicians), but i feel that Clintonl & Obama are getting more than they deserve because of their race/gender. Ironic how acceptable reverse discrimination is, huh?

No... To tell you the truth i really dont want any of them for president... my vote is for goldi i'm for the cheese.. in all seriousness if i really had to chose a president now and if he was running i would vote for guilanni, i'm not sure if spelled his name right. i dont want hillary i dont like her, john edwards tried once before and did not get in, i dont like his ideas, and abama i not crazy about either, SO im stuck.
Giuliani IS running- and his ideas/platforms are completely different than the other 3- i dont see how you're stuck?

I can't imagine the police state we'd live in if Giuliani were president. I absolutely hate him. I can't imagine why anyone would vote for him. He's already president of 9/11. what more does he need?!

Re: Does anyone feel bad for John Edwards?
I don't feel at all bad for him - I do feel badly for his wife though. No matter what she told him about going forward with his campaign...when your wife is dying, you take care of her and your kids first. He can run for president in the next election - he's young enough! I do think it's interesting that normally, he'd be the candidate most people would gravitate towards, and instead, he's pretty much being ignored. I kind of like it that way.
