Does anyone find this odd? Huge piece of the car left on the side of the road after an accident?

DH and I were going to Kohls before... As we were making the right onto Commack Rd off Daly I look to my right and said *** is that?

Apparently there was a car accident there at some point after I got home from work and when we went to Kohls- about 2 hours- I didn't hear a thing. It def wasn't there on my way home from work.

They didn't just leave a piece of the bumper..they left the whole roof.

The Roof of the car that had to be cut off was left on the side of the road!!!! Dh thought it was the hood of the car but you could clearly see it was the roof. Complete with the broken windshield and sunvisors still attached the roof was laying upside down like it was torn off and literally just left there.

I understand there was a car accident, but please clean up the place.

Am I the only one that finds that odd?

I've seen that before and in the same general area. Maybe I should call the precinct next time. Someone might be getting lazy.
