does anyone get bad O pains?
i usually feel something, but yesterday i actually yelled, it was so painful.
and ever since then, i have had a sharp, stabbing pain where my left ovary is. i *know* what it is (probably the corpus luteum) but it's never been this painful before.
anyone have bad O pains even after ovulation?

In general I wouldn't consider them bad pains, but I do feel it every month and some are more painful than others.

mine are absolutely horrible.
my doc said there is a name for women who get bad to severe pain when they are Oing
middleschmerz is the name i believe.
mine happen like clockwork each month and the pain is so bad, i sometimes worry its an ovarian cyst rupture. the pain will last anymore from 5 min. to 30 min. i usually have to take a motrin and i'm sore for the rest of the day

that's what i thought! i am not sore but i still have occasional stabbing pains which is new for me.

I do sometimes! And it stinks! it only happens some months and I hate it. It lasts like all day for me...but when I wake p the next morning it's over.

I have had some horrible stabbing pains on my left side at least 2 of the last four months. Thiis time it started on a Sunday and got worse as the day went on. DH and I were bd'ing and the pain was more intense (sorry TMI). It lasted into the next day, but at a much lesser degree. Not fun!

for me - yes. it was normal to have O pain from first day of O straight to AF's arrival.
i have even been known to take tylenol because the pain was intense (a few times).

yup, i get them, in fact i am waiting for them now...i thought i would have O'd by now and the pain is the best way i know it's coming

Yes, Very bad. Will hurt for 2-3 days (stabbing, sore). Pretty much every month. It is worse on my left side.

Some months I do get pretty bad pains, usually on the left side. It never happened before I had DD. Sometimes it's so bad that it would hurt to BD.

Same here, and sometimes I am completely miserable. It even is unconfortable to BD

yes!! most months they are fierce for only 1-3 days then for about 5 days before o and 5 days after o i'm sore. usually its on the right, but this month its my left. i went to my gyno about this and she did an internal exam and said everything felt good, no cysts but i am going for an internal sonogram next month just to make sure.
