Really bad pains in belly. Is this normal?
In the past few weeks, I've gotten really bad pains on the left side of my lower belly. They are like sharp stabbing pains that make me stop what I'm doing and have to push on my belly to make it start to go away. It often happens when I try to roll over in bed, or when I get out of the car. Once it happened when I stood up at work.
When I went to the OB 3 weeks ago, I mentioned it and he said it was normal stretching and may be because of scar tissue (from my past c-section). As far as normal stretching, I didn't have anything like this with DD; and as for scar tissue, I'm not sure because the pain is nowhere close to where my incision was. I also asked my sister who had c-sections with both of her children and she said she never had anything like this.
Does anybody know what this is from? I know I keep feeling the baby moving, so I think all is well in that department.

Sounds like round ligament pain to me. Especially since it coincides with movement. You can apply heat to help

Round Ligament pain. It is bad sometimes. Heating pads helped and changing position and relaxing for minute also helped.

I think I explained it wrong regarding the movement. I don't feel it when the baby moves, it's just that I still feel the baby moving during the day so I think he/she is okay.

i think she means with your movement, like when you get up and change position. that happens to be often.`
