does anyone have a hard time standing up for yourself
I feel like I do, I hate when others are mad at me that I wind up apologizing even if its not my fault or I wind up comprmising myself- I hate that I do this but I aviod confrotation at all costs- I just had a run in with my Dad's girlfriend that I absolutely cant stand and I let her walk all over me

It depends on the situation. I feel like in my personal life, I have no problems standing up for myself. In my professional life, if I ever need to stand up for myself, I feel like it doesn't make a difference because whomever is forcing me to stand up for myself has already made up their mind about whatever it is I need to defend. And sometimes I feel like standing up for myself makes me sound like I am defending myself even when I don't need to be. Does that make sense?

No. I don't.
I am petite and when people look at me, it seems like they are thinking " tsk, we can pull an easy one on her". But when the cute, sweet
woman opens her mouth to defend herself....
well..... they are shocked.

yes a very hard time actually.
Lately with the help ( side effect I guess?) of some hormone medication, its been sooo easy and people think Im on drugs for suddenly expressing myself/standing up for myself etc...and while its strange to hear the words coming out of my mouth, I do wish I could be that way more often ...

No, I don't have a hard time at all!
but, my friend does and sometimes I actaully feel bad for her because she gets so frustrated. She said that she wants to but something just prevents her.
