Does anyone have the Munchkin Sippy Cups with the flip top?
I mean these:
For some reason, the liquid is coming back up the straw after DS drinks from it and it is getting everywhere
I have taken them apart and tried to figure out if I am putting them together wrong but I don't think I am.
Anyone experience this? Any suggestions?

Don't tighten them too much and make sure all the straw parts are shoved in tight enough.
You get one every now and then that does that....but they are still my absolute FAVORITE sippy's!!

I have them and although I didn't have your problem, I stopped using them bc DS would click the part that covers the straw and then would freak out bc he couldn't open it again....needless to say they have been sitting in the closet for about 4 months now

I find these are the only sippys that DON'T do that!!!!
We were using playtex ones for a while, and we started calling them the volcanos because they would erupt while just sitting on the table!!!!!

I love them too - that's why I was hoping there was a solution so I didn't have to get rid of them Thanks!

MY DS has the ones with Diego & he loves them!
You cant tighten it too much because the air pressure gets trapped & thats whats causing the leaks.

i have these. don't have that problem with them. and after years of sippy cups, i found the munchkin brand was the only one not to leak all over the place all the time. a little yes, i find if you put cold liquid in and let it warm up a bit, then it can leak a little due to the pressure change in the bottle. but its not bad.

As soon as DS is finished with his cup (especially milk, if it has water in it, I let him use it throughout the day) I take the cup apart and rinse out all the parts. There is a way you can squeeze the straw with the valve to allow the water (and soap) to run all the way through it.

I don't put milk in straw cups, only juice or water

I take everything apart and put them in the dishwasher. They come perfectly clean. I've never had a problem with buildup, mold or anything getting stuck in them.

I had a problem with mold once but that was because I wasn't pre-rinsing them. Now they are sparkling clean
