Does anyone mix weird food combos for their kids?

Mine just turned 6 months and I have mixed(and considered mixing) all sorts of weird stuff. Today I was giving D peaches and didn't have much else since he has food allergies and considered mixing them with peas! I didn't but I thought about it...do you mix strange stuff together?

I try not too just because I am afraid it might turn her stomach and make her feel icky. If someone tried to mix peaches and peas and feed it to me I would barf! I try to feed her like I would feed myself. If it grosses me out I won't give it to her.

I hear ya! Thats why I didn't I thought exactly the same thing!

I've mixed some fruits and veggies to sweeten them up. Apples are a good one because they go with lots of veggies - sweet potatoes or squash with apples is good.

Yes, when DS was young I mixed his meat with veggies or fruit to make it more palatable. He loved it that way.

Now as a toddler, he has weird food combos all the time, but I'm just happy to get him to eat. He may wind up with tuna and a piece of French toast (not together, separate). I don't really plan it that way.
