Does anyone suffer from TMJ?
I've had ear and face pain on and off for the past two days, and now today I have a headache on and off - but what I've noticed is that my jaw is so tight and tense. I know I clench sometimes during the night but I think I am clenching almost all day without realizing it (everytime I think to check I am). My neck is so tight too.
Did you have anything like this with TMJ? I try to take deep breaths and relax so I will hopefully not clench my teeth but it is not working. Are there any pressure points to massage or anything I can do to relieve the pain?

Yes I have it...nothing I did helped until I got a night guard to sleep with (b/c I clench my teeth when I sleep) Prior to getting it, I was in a lot of pain, had constant headaches and jaw pain.

I do and a bite plate(night guard) and the chiropractor have helped immensely.

I have it, but I don't do well with the bite plate, I gag on it in my sleep or rip it out of my mouth while I'm sleeping. For me, I was given prescription muscle relaxers.

Re: Does anyone suffer from TMJ?
Yes, unfortunately I have it.
I wear a night guard when I go to sleep. It has helped me immensely!! At one point, it was really bad that I had to get 2 needles in my jaw to align it. I have also used muscle relaxers, but the best thing for me has been the night guard. It sux!!!!!!

Have it too. Same as the other ladies. Today I was eating a bagel and boy did it hurt. Felt like my jaw was going to snap.
