Does anyone want to do a cupcake decorating class?
There is this woman on the island who does in home baking classes.....so I was thinking of having her come to my house. She will do up to 6 people per class. The rate is $79/hour (for up to 4 people, there is a light increase for up to 6). She said it generally is 2 hours. But the hourly cost isnt per person, its the hourly cost divided by how many people attend. So say there are 4 at $79, 2 hours is $158/4 people - $39.50pp. I would host at my house, in Smithtown.
Please keep in mind though, that if we do run over, we are responsible for the additional cost.
I figured with all of us with little kiddies, some moms may want to learn for parties and stuff.
ETA: I think we all also get the decorating tips and recipes. Im confirming that though. - CONFIRMED! She gives us the supplies we need and we can take them home.

I would love to but I live in NJ. DH just got me a gift certificate for taking a class in NYC at the Institute of Culinary Education for my birthday. I can't wait! I'm going to take a 5 hour cupcake class in the fall!

I LOVE making cupcakes, but suck at decorating! I'm interested! Will depend on when and where you're located (since I live in Queens).

ABSOLUTY count me in!! I am planning on doing cupcake favors for DSs Christening at the end of Aug, so this would be totally awesome!! Lemme know what day and time. Worst case I may have to bring DS with me LOL.

Great response!
I have no specific date in mind, let me see what the woman has available! Im in Smithtown, so let me know if you are still interested. Again, though, she tops out at a group of 6.
I also spoke to the woman last night and she provides all the supplies we will need and we get to take them home. We just have to provide the ingredients.
This will be fun!
