Does anyone want to participate in a motivational TTC diet/workout thread?

I need motivation. I am not eating much, but I need help.

I thought that a thread with ideas, encouragement, even recipes might help...what do you think?

i was watching the biggest loser this morning and wanted so badly to start a new workout regimen and work out my abs, but it seemed like a moot point if it was only going to be ballooning out soon (hopefully!Chat Icon ).

but i'm all in for a healthy new start!

i was watching the biggest loser this morning and wanted so badly to start a new workout regimen and work out my abs, but it seemed like a moot point if it was only going to be ballooning out soon (hopefully!Chat Icon ).

I was thinking that at one point, but on the flipside, the more we lose now, the less we have to lose post-partum!

Okay, so I think I will allow myself not to be so great today due to the intense pain I am in from my flare.

Tomorrow-I will be starting to walk with my work buddy again. If I am feeling better tomorrow, I might try some jazzercise. And I am bringing lunch!

Oatmeal for breakfast tomorrow!

What kinds of snacks do you all bring for work during the day?

I'm a big snacker!

Right now I've got apples, pretzels & laughing cow cheese, carrots & bean dip, and maybe some mini cupcakes just for indulgence Chat Icon

Also what are your go-to brown bag lunches?

yup ive already texted my coworkers that we'll be hitting the gym after work tomorrow! i like the oatmeal idea for breakfast and i'll bring a sandwich and salad for lunch! im feeling movtivated already!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

If I get a BFN this week I am def. going to start working out again. I've been putting off losing the extra weight that I need to - because of the thought that another baby wouldn't be far behind.

I'm sick of it - and if I have yet another month (or more) before a BFP then I need to start getting my act together!

So - I'll see if I'm joining you on Thursday! Chat Icon

just got home from work and then went food shopping. bought all healthy stuff!!! grapes, strawberries, weight watchers meals, desserts, 100 calorie packs, organic fat free milk, weight watchers english muffins and bread, special K cereal and multi grain cheerios, laughing cow lite cheese... im going to really try and do this. i really need to. and im also going back to the gym! I love turkey hummus wraps! some sprouts on it for a crunch!

my snacks-apples, almonds, 100 cal packs, carrot sticks...you sound like you know what you are doing.


Hayley-can you post your weekly menus like on LIW-I need inspiration!

Hey ladies Im in for sure!!

I just quit smoking 9 days ago today!! So DH and I bought a Treadmill and I've been running/walking 2miles in the mornings!!!

Snacks..Almonds.. apples, Baby carrots almonds are awesome b/c they fill you up!!

Linda - you quit smoking! That's great news!!! Best of luck Chat Icon

I drank way too much & ate like a COW over the holidays so starting tomorrow I'm cutting out all the sweets, etc and my dh & I are going to start hitting the gym at least 3 times a week. They finally opened a location around the corner from us so there will be no excuses!!!

Ok, I'm in Chat Icon

Today for breakfast I had Honey Bunches of Oats Chat Icon yum

For lunch, I had yogurt, a granola bar, and carrots. (and a miniature size twix........ shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) Chat Icon

For dinner, I plan on having lemon sole, with whole wheat pasta, a veggie, and salad.

I was going to go to the gym tonight, but I slept 3 hours last night and taught all day. So, I'm going to go watch Oprah and take a nice nap instead. Chat Icon Chat Icon

ooo that's a good idea, maybe I'll talk to my DH about getting a treadmill Chat Icon I would like to walk like that in the mornings too but my gym doesn't open early enough. (and I am not an outdoors runner.......)

today i was SO bad...
i started off good

BREAKFAST: had plain oatmeal mixed with unsweetened applesauce

LUNCH: whole wheat Fat free cheese sandwich and a light yogurt

1 cookie for a snack

when i got home it went downhill....i had LOTS of tostitos and salsa

then for dinner just had a HUGE serving of kraft mac and cheese and some left over chicken picatta....i am SO full!I usually dont eat this much, i feel gross!

I will try to be better tomorrow...joining this thread should help!

I'm in too! I've been slowly working at taking off weight and I want to work on getting back into healthy habits before I get PG again.

I went for a walk at lunch time today and my plan is to do that every day.

The thing that I mainly need to work on is finding healthy snack options.

They're not too healthy though Michelle!

Saturday: Turkey & Artichoke stuffed shells w/salad

Sunday: Mini burgers

Monday: Chicken milanese with roasted zucchini & onions

Tuesday: Homemade pizza (I make the dough, then sprinkle with olive oil, fresh sliced roma tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil, and garlic)

Wednesday: Spinach and mushroom quesadillas

Thursday: Fish tacos with cabbage slaw

Friday: Chef's night off! Chat Icon
