Does anyone's DC have the skin condition Keratosis pilaris?
If so, what have you been finding to be the best treatment? DS has this and now that it's winter it is getting worse. Any success stories?

We were treating with your ecezema creams because that is at first what I was told he had. We've tried Auqafor, Aveeno, Cetafil, and one that begins with an L and I'm totally blanking on right now. Online it said that we should be treating with lotions that have 2% s acids. Was wondering if anyone had used them.

My daughter has it. We just moisturize her cheeks constantly. She has some bumps on her upper thighs and upper arms, but they are barely noticeable.

I found Cerave works great. Also now at 3.5, it is SOOOO MUCH better than it was when she was a baby. It is practically gone at this point.

I have it on my arms as so many adults do, but DS has it on his gorgeous face.
I was told to try hydrocortisone cream twice daily for a week, but that barely helped. I think I'll try Cerave.

Re: Does anyone's DC have the skin condition Keratosis pilaris?
My DS has it. He is now 4 1/2 and it has gotten milder every year!
He has it on the cheeks and thighs and upper arms. It definitely gets worse in the cold.
His skin is so sensitive. So I hear that creams with lactic acid work best, but he cannot tolerate those.
So I just moisturize. A dermatologist can give you some good tips as to what to use.

Re: Does anyone's DC have the skin condition Keratosis pilaris?
Ds1 has it. I took him to a derm who basically said just moisturize. My ped gave me a prescription lotion which did nothing.
We are lucky that he seems to mostly have it on his arms, from shoulder to wrist, but its not horrible.
I did a bunch of searching when we first found out about it, but for every "solution" I four equal number of people who it didn't work for, so i don't think anything works that great!

I have it. I believe that it is a symptom from an issue with gluten... I went gluten free for a week and it went away, but I love my carbs, so I couldn't keep up with it! Creams only work temporarily, unfortunately.
