I think it would be a little excessive for them to ask, especially if it is a lot of pics.
I posted pics of my engagement party and tagged my friends. One of them emailed me and asked me to untag her (she felt like she looked fat) and I did, but I thought it was a bit weird.

I wouldn't tag someone unless I asked them...
and i have been tagged, and then just untagged some ...either b/c people from work on there or i just look really bad...it doesn't bother me that much, but i would always ask first

It wouldn't necessarily bother me unless it's a really really terrible picture. But at the same time I wouldn't post pictures of anyone else unless they knew about it and were ok with having the pictures up in the first place.

same here. I've never had anyone ask me to delete or untag a pic.
My friends and I laugh at the pictures! 7th grade Emily and college Freshman Emily have some funky hairstyles.

Doesn't bother me. If someone is tagging me it's obviously a friend of mine and we all have the same friends. Whoever doesn't know me, who cares? Plus, even if I untag it, it doesn't delete the pic from facebook, it can still be seen, no?

Doesnt bother me. The bad pics have me fat with overdone 80s/90s hair. I aged very well, lost weight and got a Chi iron. Those pics are there too!

omg i just got tagged in pictures from shows i did in college
at least i'm fully dressed and sober - i think they are funny so i don't mind that they are up
if someone put up ugly or bad pictures of me (like of me wasted or whatever) then i'd take issue

I don't mind at all. If it's a problem, you can make a second page for work colleagues..or untag the photos. I've had firneds specifically ask me "oh I looked like crap last night..or I don't want my boss to see mydrinking..please don't tag"..

I usually don't mind unless it's a really awful photo. If I have a picture of a friend that I know they wouldn't like posted, I either do not tag them or I refrain from posting it at all to be nice. Now that I've learned that you can untag yourself, I just do that if I don't like the picture.

Same here. Seems kind of ridiculous to me, actually. I don't only post photos that I look "fabulous" in ... if it's a nice/fun/nostalgic photo of me and my friends, who cares?!
