Does LI IVF call you with a grading report?
Sorry for the million questions the past few days but as you can tell this is my first time going through IVF. Yesterday when the nurse called with my fert report she said that she didn't know the grades of the embryos and that if I wanted to know then I can call today and leave a message with the embryology department. I was confused because I thought that they just automatically call you with this information? Maybe it's different for LI IVF?

They never called to let me know, and I did call embryology to ask but they wouldn't give me any specific information. All they said was "things are looking good." Which was very frustrating at the time but I just told myself not to worry about it too much because at that point there was nothing i could have done about it anyway. I just had to trust that my doctor knew what he was doing and that it was best to stay as relaxed and as calm as possible because going into the transfer stressed out probably wasn't the best idea.

That's kind of a bummer! I wonder why they don't call beforehand just to keep you updated.

Does LI IVF call you with a grading report?
They have to see how they develop. They can't tell you grading until they see if the ferilize, grow, etc & then Freeze.
The average embryos usually are about half of what you get from retrieval. Good Luck!!
