Re: Does this price seem high?
Well I am not too sure but I know I wanted to knock down the wall between my den and the garage and make it one big room it would cost about that much b/c you have to make sure you have support there!

see my quote with moving a bathroom and knocking down a wall in the garage was half that including solid oak flooring and tile work....

That does seem very high. Is it a one or 2 car garage?

Re: Does this price seem high?
that's extremely high! we knocked down a few walls in the bottom part of our high ranch and added a few more walls, electrical, another bedroom and a summer kitchen and i think its around 20-25k.

I'm assuming you have to bring in heat and everything into the garage???? I still think it's high without floor, windows etc..but if its putting up new walls, insulation and bringing in piping for the heat it's not ridiculously high
