Does this question bother you?
"Was this planned?"
I told my friend that I'm choosing not to say, and he said someone else was mad at him for asking. I wasn't mad, but people will judge with either answer.
Does it bother you when people ask?
ETA: I have gotten this question A LOT. In all fairness, my job is very demanding (intern) and I think people are shocked that I am not taking a leave other than vacation time - but if I did I would lose my career. They must be curious...I would be. But I would NEVER ask.
My entire family assumed it was an oops because I would have to be nuts to have a baby now...With the m/c the immediately before this PG I think those in the know can guess we were TTC!

Oh my goodenmss! I have heard this statement too! I really don't know what people think when they come up with these questions. And unfortunately, I can't come up with a quick comeback fast enough.
People just don't think.

YES it bugs me. I got pregnant (planned) 4 months after I got married - so people asked me all the time. I guess on their clock I got preggo too quickly after I got married.
It is so rude and irritating. No one has a right to ask such a personal question. I think it is incredibly insensitive and crosses personal bounderies.

the question doesnt bother me but what would bother me is if people judged us for getting pregnant two months after being married. I can see his friends being like that.

i got pregnant with number #2 when dd was only 11 months old. so you can bet, i got that question ALOT. and it bugged the heck out of me.

People asked me this all the time bc I got pg 1 month after getting married. Even though he wasn't planned, I don't see what difference it makes to them.
I am just baffled at the bold and very personal questions people ask expectant and new moms.

nah,,doesnt bother me.
We got prego on our HM, so I get asked alot and I just say that we wanted a HM baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO, I rather get asked that than have someone make comment about my belly size or weight gain...
