Does this sound teething related?

DD is DEFINITELY teething. Went to the pediatrician on Thursday for her nine month check up, and sure enough, the doctor could see FOUR of her top teeth through the gums!! Poor baby!
She's had pretty dry cheeks the past two weeks - the doctor said it's from the cold air, drool from the teething, etc. They have been very dry, and flaky.
Well today, they are SUPER red. Not nearly as flaky and dry, but SO raw/red looking. Do some babies get red cheeks from teething? Just trying to figure out where it's coming from!
