Does your 2-year-old like yogurt?
It used to be one of the few things DD actually ate. Lately, she's having a fit whenever it's time to eat it.
Just curious if your kids are still eating it every day. I know their tastes change (just like ours), but with her it's SO hard to tell that's what it is b/c she HATES to eat and would be perfectly fine eating just a handful of Cheerios every day.

Yup....but he has to feed it to himself (so in the highchair)
Does C feed it to herself?

No But we've tried it. Her main issue with food like this is that she HATES to get food on her face or get messy at all while eating (I think my similar hate has rubbed off on her  )...so if she starts eating something and it gets on her face, she has a FIT and will either hand off the spoon to us, or will just refuse to eat anymore
Edit to clarify: that's not why she's refusing the yogurt though, it doesn't prevent her from eating...but it limits what she'll actually feed herself...does that make sense?

My kids LOVE yogurt...If I let DS eat it all day he would.
What about trying the drinkable ones and put a straw in it?

the only yogurt my DD like is the Dora/Diego one. There is also a Winnie the Pooh & Trix one.

Jeremy is 3 but he has always loved yogurt. He also does not like getting messy so he like the drinkable ones that he can put the straw through the lid himself (with a little pressure, straws can pop right through the foil lid)

OMG, DS asks for yogurt every day, multiple times a day. I have to hide it in the fridge because if he sees it when I open it, he wants more!
He actually also insists on eating it himself. He gets the YoBaby ones right now. So he takes the top off, goes in his high chair, holds the yogurt in one hand and uses his spoon to get out every last drop with the other hand!

Mine don't care for the regular yogurt you eat with a spoon. They LOVE the drinkable ones. If I gave it to them with every meal they would drink it.
I recently started making smoothies for them with plain or vanilla yogurt, frozen berries and veggies (carrots or spinach). They really like it. I figured it's a great way to sneak in veggies.

yep....he had a phase where he never wanted it anymore, happens with a lot of his foods actually but that lasted 6-8 weeks and now he is back to eating it.

she used to eat any floavor. Now there is only one flavor that she will eat, sometimes. I dont mind.... i have never liked the texture of yougart!

It's so funny... I am working from home today and my mom is watching DS.
I am currently listening to him run around the house screaming "I want yogurt" over and over again. 
This is after he just ate an entire bowl of chicken, peas, graham crackers and milk. The kid is unreal sometimes... always wants the yogurt!

Yes! But she did go through a phase when she didn't want me to feed her it and also didn't want to feed herself. So we started the drinkable yogurts. She loved them. Now that she can feed herself some weeks we buy the drinkables and some the Winnie the Pooh yogurt

Yeah, that's what we were still using too, therefore a big mess for self-feeding. I may try the drinkables-- thanks ladies!

She's loving it these days. She doesn't eat it on a regular basis plain...it's in her smoothies usually.
