Does your baby move alot but you dont always feel it----

I am almost 29 weeks and I know Chat Icon is in the 36th percentile for weight so she is average weight. I dont feel her move every hr. SOmetimes its only a squirm here a few kicks here and the daily positioning but when they do teh monitoring she kicks like crazy but I dont feel it all the time.
Anyone else?
Could it be becuase my stomach is stretched really tight.....

I didn't feel DS as often or as strong as others say they felt their DC.

He is fine, don't stress out about itChat Icon

I am only a little less than 23 weeks, so I am not sure if we can compare. I only feel very slight feelings, like Rice Krispies in my belly, but not every day. I felt the baby for the first time very early, then nothing for a while and now the slight feelings. My baby moves a lot during sonograms.

When they had me monitored on the non-stress test you could hear the baby move, but I didn't feel it. The doctor would hear it and say 'did you feel that one?' And I'd feel like an idiot because I didn't.

i dont feel mine as often as other people also...there are some hours that go by where i feel nothing. It could be that the movement is so light that i just dont notice...
and then i'll get the strong kicks other times..But definitely not constant movement ever hour.

I felt my DD all of the time, she was on the right.

I never felt Chat Icon, he was on the left . Late in the pregnancy a sono tech told me it was because his placenta was attached to the top of my uterus. He was kicking as much as Chat Icon but I couldn't feel it because he was kicking the placenta and it was acting as a cushion.

The last time I was at the Dr, they felt the baby move, but I didn't...it is strange, but I think they are only moving a little bit at this point....

Re: Does your baby move alot but you dont always feel it----

I feel mine mostly when I'm resting. A lot of times in the morning right before I get up and on the ride into work. It's cute it's like the baby knows we're on the go. After lunch too and at night especially. I can't wait to turn in and just lay on the bed with my hands on my belly. I love it.

IMO I think my baby moves quite often. I did read that if you're an "alwasy on the go" person the baby will be resting. All that rocking can put your baby to sleep. When I'm out and about my mind is on other things so I really don't feel him or her. Sometimes he or shee will give a good kick and I'll feel it.

I was hooked up to the monitor once in L&D. I heard the nugget moving but did not feel it. Even during sonos he would move and I did not always feel it.

This is me. We did a NST on Saturday and she was kung fu fighting in my stomach-we all heard it but my tummy wasnt moving. Glad to hear I am not the only one.

I had excess fluid so I didn't feel her as much as I was told I should be. A lot of it has to do with the position the baby is laying in too.

my doc said i have alot of fluid in there and that's why i'm not feeling the baby as much yet. it was moving the whole time during the sono but i didn't feel it at all.

at almost 23 weeks, I feel a ton of movement. Still a lot of internal tickling, but some definite thumps too! I feel like mainly at night, when I am trying to sleep!!
