Does your DH cook?
Doesn't really matter if he does/doesn't do a good job but does he at least attempt to cook for you? Just curious. My DH doesn't cook dinner but he will cook breakfast on weekends sometimes.
How about yours?

He's the primary chef in our house. I couldn't tell you the last time I cooked a meal.

No, in 7 years, he's cooked TWICE. Sporadically he will put salmon on a pan and heat it for himself or make eggs, again for himself. But cook, that's a BIG no. But, then again, I'm not counting grilling, because he will grill on his baby, the Weber.

Not really. Once in awhile, he will make breakfast, and he makes dinner maybe once a year. He does grill in the summer though, and we have some seriously big barbecues like four times throughout the season.
I love cooking. He doesn't. It works for us!

Nope. He has no interest and I actually love to cook so it works out.
He will make himself and my DD eggs on the weekend, that's really all he knows how to cook.

Yes. I cook more often, and I enjoy it. But dh also likes to cook (sometimes) and is a pretty good cook. He is NOT a good baker though...he's not precise enough, so he leaves that to me!

Recently dinner too...about half and half split with me cooking dinner vs him

Yes, but he never really makes anything complicated. He can make pasta and sauce, eggs and bacon, chili, and grills a lot in the summer. If I don't feel well or really don't want to cook he takes over but that doesn't happen too often.

There certain things that my SO cooks, but I do most of it. I like to cook and hate the clean up so I prefer that he cleans instead.

the rule in our house used to be whoever was home first cooked. However, everything he cooked was borderline inedible. At first I would choke it down and say "One meal I didnt have to cook" but after time, it was just a waste of food since most of it got thrown in the garbage

I do most of the cooking, but he grills all year long. I love cooking so I don't mind. When I used to work, he did a lot of the cooking because he used to get home before me.
