Does your DS have a play kitchen?
And, if so, which one? DH is kind of against it but DS has played with ones at friends' houses and loved it!

We have the FP Laugh and Learn one, it is not a fancy one, but he likes it.

That step 2 one is amazing!!
I always wanted a kitchen for my older boys and my dh said NO WAY! This time I am getting it because everywhere we went that was their favorite thing to play with! My little guy might be a future Emeril Logassi!!

I saw that Step 2 one at the thrift store one day for $20. I couldn't fit it in my car though 
We have the FP Learning one, but honestly it's boring for her at this point. I'm getting her the Step 2 Diner for xmas.

yeah.... Most of the world's most famous chefs are men! Why not?!!!! There are some awesome kitchen toys out there... much nicer than my particle-board Holly Hobby Kitchen.

Robbie and No have the same one...
They liked it better when they were littler. Now they climb through the window, flip it during superhero play and use it as a launching pad to jump from. The sweet little flowers and the blue and white shade are things of the past.
They will still use it as a kitchen IF I play with them and direct them.

DS has this Step 2 kitchen. It's a little smaller than the others posted (which I like). DS loves it and a bunch of our friends (boys and girls) have it too and love it.

I plan on getting Ryan one, once he is old enough.

we have that one too.
DH didnt want us to get it bc he felt that his son shouldnt be playing with the kitchen, but now that we have it he is happy we got it...DS loves it...so entertaining!

My DS uses my DD's which is all pastel colors so if my DH can stomach that, your DH will have to be OK with one too. My DS also has a toy vacuum...the horrors LOL

We have a very simple one that we got at a thrift store. DS is very imaginative, so that's plenty for him. It's outside, so he has an outdoor cafe. We sit at a table, and he tells us his "specials", takes our orders, then puts wood chips and mud on plates as our "food".
You can't stop kids from imagining what they want. Even when he isn't near the kitchen set, he pretends to put food in the "oven", he makes the "ding" sound, then takes it out of the oven.
It's very masculine to be a chef, and DS is already fairly comfortable in the real kitchen, making real food.

DS has a FP one that he plays with every day. He usually tried to bake his cars in the oven or wash them in the sink.

At first I thought I was making a big mistake but it was definately worth it. As long as she becomes a top chef everything will be ok  KIDDING!
