Does your OB measure your fundal height ?
I just remembered that my OB used to do this when I was pregnant with DD (almost 5) and realized that my OB or other OBs I've seen in this group haven't done this so far. I'll be 30 w in a couple of days.
According to baby center they should be doing this each visit starting at 20 w...
So what about you?

He has done it maybe every other visit... when he takes the measuring tape and measures my bely.

Mine did it last time but not for quite a while. I don't remember exactly when they started.

I'm 33w and my doc has never done this. He does a sono at every visit though.

My OB's office only does this. We don't get any sonos after 20 weeks so it's the only way they determine anything about growth. I'd rather have a sono. But it's not my choice.

Mine does measure me every appt., but I did read somewhere that many practices are no longer measuring fundal height bc it doesn't necessarily indicate anything. You could be measuring "big", for example, if your bladder is full, etc.

Only with their hands... They will gently push to find the top of it... But no measuring tape yet at least (36 wks)

My midwife did this when I was pg with DD. I haven't had it done yet with my current practice, but I'm not quite 20 weeks.

I was just discussing this w/my coworkers the other day. My OB has never done this, I am 37 wks, 5 days. I had my last sono @ 32 wks and I was getting them every 3-4 wks. I have an appt w/him tonight and I'm going to ask him about this b/c I have no idea what this babes could possibly weight.

Every single visit since 20 weeks...thats hot she determines the baby's growth as opposed to sonos.
