Dove soap

At our baby care class the instructor told us to use Dove soap on the baby when giving it a sponge bath or regular bath. I really thought this was weird because I thought this kind of soap is harsh. Does anyone else use this on their baby or do you use Aveeno or Johnson&Johnson?

Re: Dove soap

I used Gerber and Johnson and Johnson products right from the beginning. Never even tried Dove.

Re: Dove soap

I used the aveeno right from the start. I'd worry about regular soap when if it got in his eyes!

Re: Dove soap

I tried it because my ped at the time suggested it. He had dry skin to begin with and I think it made it worse. I was also worried if he got it in his eye that it would burn to much. I have tired a lot of different products and my favorite by far is the Aveeno wash and the Aveeno Lavander and Vanilla calming cream. He smells delicious after his rub down and his skin has really softened up.
