Down to 2 bottles
My son is 1 year old, and will now only take 2 bottles, morning and night. He is a pretty decent eater (dinner is when he eats the most) But what can I give him as fillers? I want to make sure that he eats enough without these bottles...also, what do you ladies, whos child goes to daycare/babysitter send for lunch? I usually send a yogurt, but dont know if thats enough now. Thanks!

Re: Down to 2 bottles
DS gets 3 (sometimes 4 bottles) a day still....
lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before, a grilled cheese, chicken nuggets w/ mac n cheese and a veggie, yesterday was rice & beans, always some fruit. sometimes Gerber pasta pick ups.

Re: Down to 2 bottles
my son wont eat any of the gerber foods...i wish he would...it will be much easier when summer comes and I can make him lunch---I just want to keep it easy for the babysitter.

Re: Down to 2 bottles
what about making some mac n cheese and putting it in individual containers, mix in some veggies.
how about a cereal bar and some freeze dried fruit? or fresh fruit? or the fruit in a cup in light syrup?
drinkable yogurt or a smoothie that he can drink?
My DS doesn't do well with real yogurt yet.
what about some cold cuts and cheese slices?
steamed veggies that are easily reheated or even at room temp?
