Downs Diagnosis thru blood test only-Early Fall

Came across this article on MSN this morning. Thought this paragraph was interesting and thought I would pass the info on.

"But soon, the first non-invasive and inexpensive blood test will allow pregnant women to know if their fetus has Down syndrome in the early weeks of pregnancy. The test, expected to hit market later this fall, detects fetal DNA in a mother’s bloodstream."

If this is true and accurate, it would be amazing! I wonder how sensative and specific it is.. I'll read the article later. Cool!
