Dr Appt this morning, NO PROGRESS....STILL
So I just got back from my 40 wk appt. No progress. Im still all closed up. I go back tomorrow for a growth sono, tosee what we are dealing with. IF he is 7.5lbs (which she is guessing) I will be induced next week. IF he is 8lbs or more, she will offer a C sec if I want it. She said he is "still up there" his head is down, but he has not moved an inch. Figures, I would have a stubborn baby. So now I wait until my 11am sono tomorrow and hope for the best. I told her I cant do another week. She knows, how uncomfortable I am and is willing to get him out!!!! LOVE this dr.

glad to hear you have a plan in place!! but it wouldn't be unheard of to go from no progress to fully effaced/ dilated in a few hours, so i still have hope that you go very soon!!!!

I'm already to start with the story that I've been having contractions since Monday am - so what is that 48 hours of labor?

I think my mom ups the hours of labor each year.

I am putting a framed pic of the IVF drugs in baby's room and just pointing to it when he/she misbehaves
When he/she is reaalllyyy bad I will wip out the LATE thing...
You two cant leave me though.. I might have a nervous breakdown if you BOTH go before me!

Don't stress -- you can go from 0 to dialation out of no where. Also, my son never dropped (I'm talking never -- he wasn't even engaged when I was fully dialated and ready to push -- he did come out vaginally, though), so don't feel too bad.
Baby will be here before you know it!

I doubt it, in fact I feel like my contractions are lessening - is that even possible?
I swear this lateness and the constant phone calls from people that I know are just trying to be nice is making me crazy......
and now I'm freaking even more I forgot to mention that at yesterday's sono was measuring 8.11

Oh good Lord, 8.11 See this is what makes me nervous.
Dh and his bro and sister were all over 8lbs (and its not like my IL's a BIG people, they are all short). My brother was 9+ my father is 6'5" I was the only peanut at 6lb 14 oz. The rest of the people were huge.
Thank goodness for drugs...

FWIW, I always lost weight the week I went into labor. And my DS never fully dropped. I have a belly pic 2 hours before I gave birth that still shows him high up there.
Why would she offer a c-section for and 8lb baby? That is not big at all
