Dr. Braverman specialty?
What is his specialty? Does anyone over 40 see him as a patient and are you high FSH?
Thanks

I consulted with him before my last cycle started. You should do a consult with him and see what he thinks for your situation. I've already seen him do wonders for some of the women on this board.

I think he is listed on our insurance, but as far as IVF, if the office does not report to SART, we are not covered. From what I thought, SIRM does not report to SART.

Re: Dr. Braverman specialty?
I just got a jolt of hope from your post. Thank you.
I have read alot about him, can't afford Cornell but I think he takes my insurance, so a consult might be in order and testing.
On the SIRIM site it is listed that he has an interest in poor responders so I think I qualify after 1 follie after a high stim. My poor embie didn't implant, so I just want to ensure it isn't my uterus or immunology. My highest FSH was 42 but I think it was because I was coming off of some nasty meds and my body was readjusting..at least this belief gets me through the day...lol. Thereafter it was around 9-13. So I will see. Hey, the rate I am going through RE's on the island, I may end up in CA soon.

Oh I am so glad.. You have to have hope.. After you meet with him you will have even more hope if HE thinks you can get pregnant then he will do anything he has to.. Have you been tested for immune issues and bloodclotting disorders? Have you ever been pregnant?

Re: Dr. Braverman specialty?
I've only had blood clotting testing and I pushed for that. These simple tests should be part of the initial work up. They did find on the blood clotting that I have a disorder (have to get name) that is treated with extra folic acid. So simple.
I was pregnant by DH 2x in my 20's but miscarried - fell first time. I am really beginning to wonder if my body is rejecting embryo. I am sure it is my egg quality to some extent, but my family has children into late 40's. Grandmother had a baby at 48, maternal aunts 45-47, so I fully expected a child later in life. Oh well, thanks for your input on Braverman.
