Driveway Material
What are the pros/cons of having a driveway made of asphalt, concrete, or gravel? We already ripped our driveway up and are about to get some estimates. Our driveway is very large (fits 6 cars and is long) so I know concrete would be so expensive. We also wanted to do belgium blocks around the border,

Driveway Material
We have gravel and I can't stand it. We're hopefully replacing it with blacktop in the spring

We have asphalt. I preferred the way it looked and I know you can patch cracks and reseal it.
I don't think you can patch cracks with concrete.

this for some reason half of our driveway is asphalt, and half is concrete...the concrete doesnt last as long
DH just fixed the cracks and resealed the asphalt part of our driveway last week and it is much better

I love the way gravel looks but it is a pain to maintain-you cannot use a snowblower in the winter and you have to spray for weeds in the spring/summer. We have gravel and will eventually replace it with asphalt for the reasons the pp stated.

I would avoid concrete or brick because if you car leaks oil or anything, you can't get the stains out. With asphalt you can
