Driving distance trips?

I want to go away with DH in February, just a driving destination, I wont be able to fly, I will be 32 weeks, and I want to go away for just a few days... Thinking of it as a mini-baby moon

Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

Re: Driving distance trips?

I was thinking the same thing -

DH LOVES to snowboard and hasn't gone in sooooooooo long - I wanted to go someplace where he could go boarding for a day and I can just relax @ the spa or something and then we could spend the next day together doing whatever..........but I don't know where to go where there's a mountain and a nice spa ..... -

he used to rent a house @ Hunter every winter - but I am NOT a fan of that place !Chat Icon

Re: Driving distance trips?

How about VT where you can do some shopping, get away, go to the VT Teddy Bear and make your little one a bear. Chat Icon

Also, Washington DC, Cape Cod, Boston, etc.

I wouldn't go too far, but a nice weekend trip is ok. Stop a few times on the way to get up, stretch your legs and of course... go pee. Chat Icon

Re: Driving distance trips?

We're going to Mohonk Mountain House for a babymoon. There is a spa and skiing (not sure about boarding, but probably!). It's in New Paltz, about 2.5 hours away.

Re: Driving distance trips?

We went up to VT when I was about 32 weeks PG. I'm not going to lie, the trip was quite uncomfortable. We stopped every hour for me to walk and stretch my legs but my A SS and hips and EVERYTHIGN were killing me....

I would reccomend not driving to far.... YOu may not know how uncomfrtable you will be.
