Drop in BM supply
I'm freaking out.. I know I shouldn't since it affects BM production but I'm worried since for the last couple of days my BM supply has dropped considerably while I am pumping. DS drinking supply is just fine but it's my pumping that I am barely getting anything. I have been drinking water, mother's milk and eating oatmeal but seems it isn't working now. I'm going to get the fenugreek pills but is there anything else I can do at this point?

Re: Drop in BM supply
I also have a problem when pumping. The only time I can pump anything worthwhile is first thing in the am or if I miss a feeding bc DD had a bottle of bm instead(which is very few & far between). At least it is not affecting his drinking supply.
I just look at it as my body knowing the pump is not DD. Also, the pump never drains me like she can!
Try pumping in the am, that really helps me.

I pumped this morning at 745am and got less than an ounce from both breasts combined.
I got the Mirena put in on Tuesday. Would that have anything to do with it?
