Drop-In Daycare
Is there a such thing as drop in daycare? DD is 18 months and I have a meeting I have to go to next Monday. I normally have family watch her but no one is around that day. I thought I recalled reading about Drop-In daycare on here? Also if you know of one what is the usual rate?
Thanks!

Re: Drop-In Daycare
There is an emergency day care in Melville called Calling All Kids, Again.

I toured the building and was pretty impressed. I signed DD up just in case.

Re: Drop-In Daycare
Don't know if it applies to you, but I just found out that DH's insurance pays for this, for up to 20 days a year. You may want to double check your insurance.

Re: Drop-In Daycare
I forgot the name of both but there is one in Woodbury and one in Babylon.
You need to fill out paperwork, etc... with vaccination records prior to dropping DC.
It's about $80-$95 per day

Re: Drop-In Daycare
Many companies offer an EAP - Employee Assistance Program.
They can offer you referrals to services like this. The referral is free, usually you have to pay for the service.
Might be worth looking into, the call is confidential and free.
