Drs appt was today...little stressed
So I had another dr's appt today (33w 5days) and a sono.
Little girl is looking great - she was very active and moving all over and breathing away! She is so adorable I wish I could post my 3d photos but can't use my scanner.
Her stomach looked a little small and the fluid went up a bit from 32 to 35.
Dr tells me he expects me to go at 36 maybe I will make 37 weeks   Since the fluid is up they do feel that there is an increase risk for the Esphogeal atresia/TE Fistula But we have a good ped surgeon lined up just in case (we are still optomistic that she is healthy and won't need this surgery at birth).
Okay girls I am on even more bedrest now no errands - b/c I am still having contractions. Our new house is nowhere near done and my crib won't be in for 2-4 weeks at the earliest!!! I don't have 1/2 the stuff for my hospital bag and we still need a lot of stuff for the baby. Can I say I am no where NEAR ready for her to come in 2-3 weeks!!!!!

Best of luck with her health - I hope everything is ok....Don't sweat the crib -she won't be sleeping in her crib for some time! Best of luck....

It all somehow works out in the end.
Type up a list of things that need to be done, what needs to go in the diaper bag, etc and have DH do it when he gets home or on the weekend. Definitely start delegating and ask friends and family if they could lend a hand (i.e. cook some meals, help clean, etc)
Do you have a bassanet? cosleeper? Honestly - don't worry about the furniture - you don't need it right now.
try to rest - I know - easier said than done!

We have a pack n play but most of our things in our apt are in boxes and it is a one bedroom with two cats there is no where to open the pack n play here - I think we might need to move to my parents house for the first week or two depending on when she comes if we can't get the house done in time.
The other stress is that my grandmother tripped on uneven sidewalk on friday and fractured her shoulder - she had a consult today at cornell and was told she needs surgery on Tuesday So my family is split with helping me and helping her as no one else can. It is very stressful around here at the moment - DH and my parents are trying to get the house done - I think we will have to hire painters to get it done and help by running errands and both my parents and DH work long hours so they are trying to do everything around that.

Just breathe. You don't need the crib right away anyway and the house isn't going anywhere. I'm glad you got to see her and all looks good. If you need anything-I'm not far away!

Remember our little chat. Well you will make ith through this. Babies do not need as much as we think. Once they have a place to sleep, bellies full and clean pampers they are so content.
I am sorry you were stressed and I am hopeful that she wont need surgery

Thank you ladies you all are amazing support - It just helps sometimes to just get it out I know it will all work out - I am just someone who likes to have things planned out and these few months have been an absolute roller coaster.

calm down!!!! i'm glad you got to see your munchkin. try not to worry - things will fall into place. i'll keep your little girl in my prayers. write a list of the things you need and start delegating to friends/DH, one thing at a time. your hospital bag etc...

I am much calmer now - I think I was just shocked to hear that I know it will mostly get done. Top if off we have a flat tire on my car and have to have the tire replaced and my mother took my grandmother home and they got stuck in the buildings elevator for an hour and had to had the fire dept come and lift them out  It just must be one of those days.

oh no, Im sorry it wasnt the best appointment. I can sense how stressed you are.
There will be LOTS of time when shes here to get things done.
I know its hard but delegate. LET people help you, it will only be for a short time.
You need to be healthy and fufill those wishes of a healthy delivery.
Dont let the stress of "getting ready" get to you. You will have all you need when and if she comes early.
