Dry hacking cough?
Last night, James woke up around midnight with a horribly dry cough. He sounds like he has no voice when he coughs and for a few minutes after he is finished coughing. This came out of nowhere - he was absolutely 100% FINE when we put him to bed last night. This morning when he woke up, his nose was running as well.
I know that he's got a tooth coming in on the bottom and that could make his nose run, but what do I do about this cough? It sounds like pieces of sandpaper rubbing together. It's the kind of cough that we - as adults - would be sucking on cough drops and drinking tea for.

Thanks!
I'm gong to check in with the sitter at lunch and see how he's doing - if he's any worse than he was this morning, I'm going to take him in.

I agree with Linda... could be allergies. It's the season. Even though it feels like it's still mid Jan
See how he's doing today. Maybe try a humidifier in the room tonight
