love it !!!! how did you paint those cool stripes on the wall?! i'd love to do that at our house !
To do the stripes we:
1) painted the wall in the brown entirely
2)once completely dry we taped off the stripes at the desired width
3)painted over the inside edges of the tape in the brown to create a seal so that the red/blue didnt bleed under
4)Once almost completely dry we painted in the first coat on the stripes
5) waited until it was just dry enough to be able to paint over the second coat. You want to peel the tape of when its wait to get the straightest line.
6)Immediately after finishing the 2nd coat, pulled the tape off and viola!

Love it! I would do a coat of magnetic paint, with a coat of chalkboard over it, then frame it out in a navy or red frame.
DS will have a blast with it!
I totally agree. It would look so cute in that corner.
Melissa, you did a great job with his room. I love it.

I love the way you did EVERYTHING! Great attention to detail!
LOVE the curtains...they would match my sons' rooms perfect...would you mind if I asked where you got them?
I think I saw similiar at Pottery Barn I was going to order.

It looks fantastic!!! You did a great job. As for the corner, I think the chalkboard and shelves is a great idea. It would be useful and I think it will take up the space you're looking to fill.
