DS keeps rolling over onto his stomach to sleep
And I dont know what to do. He is being stubborn about it. Everytime I roll him back onto his back, he rolls onto his stomach. He has been rolling over and lifting his body and head up for awhile now (almost a month) so I feel a little better about it but I know the doctors dont want them sleeping like this. I am scared to death of SIDS. He will only be 4 months August 2nd. And I am even using the sleep positioner since he was born, he turns over in it.

Re: DS keeps rolling over onto his stomach to sleep
As my Mom always said, when we were kids, the doc recommended we only sleep on our stomach! I am not an expert, but I would say if he's donig it on his own and can lift his head, I think he will do just fine

My ped told me that if my son rolls over just leave him. he will be fine. I didnt want to tell him that my ds sleeps on his tummy every night!

Re: DS keeps rolling over onto his stomach to sleep
As soon as they can roll over on their own, it is fine if he sleeps on his belly....my doctor told me not to worry once they can roll over, dd has been sleeping on her belly for about 3-4 weeks now and they are about the same age

Re: DS keeps rolling over onto his stomach to sleep
i'm having the same issue. I am paranoid also because I swear someone posted about sids at 6 months. I resorted to putting them to sleep in the swing...I figure its for 60 days tops... if u get any ideas let me know.

Re: DS keeps rolling over onto his stomach to sleep
I know the feeling- except our DD wakes herself up when she does and won't go back to sleep.
As long as he can turn over and hold his head up, he will be fine
