Dumb question about Kindy Graduation
If DS has his graduation ceremony on Monday, but the last day of school is scheduled for Thursday -- does he go to school Tues-Thurs?
I'm trying to make child care arrangements for the summer and not sure when his summer vaca officially starts.

If it's a public school district they probably still have school or even 1/2 days up until the official last day of school. In my district k-grad is 1 week before the last day. Kids go to grad and then go back to regular schedule until that last Friday.

I was trying to figure that out the other day as well. My sons kindergarten graduation is a week before the official last day of school.

I would call your particular district, but normally even if there is a graduation or step up ceremony and it is before the last day of school, the kids still have to attend until the last day for the district to receive the 180 days of credits for school funding. They schedule the events before the last day in order to make sure parents can attend.

When I taught kindergarten, the day they graduated was their last day of school.

K always finishes first. the graduation is it. Even though the rest of the school has school still, the K kids are done!
