Dutch Wonderland - would you go with 2 year old & 3 month old?

We want to take our 2 year old to Dutch Wonderland in August. I also have a 3 week old who will be 3 months by the time we go. Would you go for one day or are we crazy even considering it?

my main concern for the 3 month old would be how HOT it would be.....but the 2 year old would have a BALL!!!

Your two year old will LOVE it. They also have a water park area so you can cool off there if it's really bad.

We are going to take our 3 yr. old and leave our 4 month old(over the summer) at home with my parents. I feel like it will be so hot & we will basically just be pushing her around in the stroller. So we decided to just make it quality time with DSChat Icon

I say go, but wait to set the plans in stone just to see how your DC is (fussy, easy going etc)

We plan on doing Hershey this summer and DW in September. DS will be 3.5yo and my other DS is currently 6 weeks so he will be under 3mo for Hershey and 4+ months for DW.

However our plans are still just talk because DS #2 is fussy, and really needy at this point. So I can't imagine taking him to an amusement park. But we will see how he is in a few more weeks and then decide.

Hey Kelly, good to see you around & congrats on your 2nd son!

We did exactly this with a 2 year old & 3 month old the end of August.

He was no problem & perfectly content in his carrier. He even went on a number of rides (boats, train ride, etc.)

DD had a blast at 2.

i would say GO!!

We went last year to dutch wonderland and hershey when my youngest was 6 weeks old. i had the bjorn and my double stroller and my summer infant sun shade and my DD was fine. It was 90-100 the whole time we were away and she didn't over heat. We all actually had a great time as a family.

Go and enjoy!!
